Colorado in May

In May My wife, 3 year old and I are going to Colorado again, this time for
a wedding. We are going to actually send a week there and were thinking
about going to South Dakota to Mount Rushmore.
My Question is, where else would be good to go close to Colorado Springs.
We went to Pikes Peak and to the Air Force Academy and would like some
Road Trip Ideas.

Although, Mt. Rushmore is nice, I was much more impressed
with the ongoing sculpting taking place on "Chief Crazy Horse" in
western South Dakota.
