Florida to Boston Recommendations

I'll be driving from Orlando to Boston in mid December and wonder if anyone
has any suggestions on a route or interesting places to stop/visit along the
way.

I've done the 95 routine several times and find it really boring. South of
the Border can not be any worse than it already is, so that's the type of
place I'd like to avoid.

I've done the Blue Ridge parkway and have found that to be a nice diversion.

If anyone can make any recommendations for interesting things to see or do
along the way, or alternate routes that would be interesting, I'd certainly
appreciate hearing about them.

Thanks,
CS

Sorry I can't help you. I find it a boring route as well and I have not
discovered much either.

Thanks,
Blue Ridge, Smokies, Shenadoah... I've never really explored off that
track, but a good road atlas probably has a lot of suggestions for state
parks... There are probably good beaches along the way.
